All the water sources ran dry, seas and oceans turned into bodies of toxic sludge. Skyscrapers stand empty and tall, as sad giants, reminiscent of the planet’s former greatness. It looks like nobody survived but me. Once the dust had settled, I used to meet a few strangers, occasionally, some of them even were friendly… but not now. Now I’m sitting inside some building. I think it used to be a police station and finishing up the last chunk of food I’ve got left. I still have some water, but I’m not sure for how long I could last, I had a nasty fall last week and my leg is fucked… Wait, what’s that? I can see some movement just across the street. Yeah, that pile of rubble just moved. Is that… a robot??? Quite a big robot, yes! Probably a truck-sized robot. It walks on two feet. What is it doing? It looks like trying to extract something from the rubble. A huge metal plate? But why? Holy shit, it's sentient and it’s trying to build some sort of basic body armor for itself. I gotta go now, I need to get my binoculars to see what’s what. This robot definitely doesn’t look friendly…or don't?
